exactly.. i was going to agree with the original poster in his review of nasser's FDB but clearly he's gone gaga if he think's Dex's FDB is flawed.
sure, his calves let him down, but no-one, no-one has ever looked like him in this pose.
give him flex's calf implants and you've got the template that everyone else is to be judged on.
Flex's use of calfies puts him out of any claim for BB greatness IMO and im always amazed that ppl dont cite his weak and narrow lats, weak pecs, smallish quads, and blatant calf implants. anyone seen flex's early shots when he had the same upper body size and calves no thicker than his shinbones?....
flex was an arms and shoulders BB..period. he had great conditioning and good pecs, but he amazed everyone with his sharpness and shoulders/arms.
he had glaring flaws that ppl overlook.
Levrone and Dex come the closest to perfection in my book. than Ray, who although was very good in all areas, was a little blocky..his FDB wasnt very good at all. Then there's Cormier, who's FDB made his legs look like a greyhound's and his pecs disappear...yet every other pose he looked a world beater.
arguably Nasser's only good pose was FDB, but only if he hit in a certain way and only when he finally hit it, and only if he was really on.
his arms cry crapola, legs are thick from the top with little sweep, wide waist, and thick set midsection. thankfully his lats made up for the illusion.
