And most lawyers are scumbags... you strike me as a prime example.

Good call on someone you've never met jackass.

Here in New York City you need 60 college credits with at least a 2.0 GPA. Clearly not very hard. The biggest obstacle in becoming a police officer is the drug testing. I love my marijuana.

Do you like donuts, bribes and power trips ?!? are you eaily corrupted and steal case evidence (ie. money or cocaine?)  if so you just might be the perfect candidate

95% of cops are crooked pieces of shit, 100 times worse then any criminal they put away.

do this:

if you get pulled over for a ticket and the cop is a tool
usually they are
Just get name/badge number
file a complaint with their department...in writing
say they were unprofessional, sarcastic, whatever

they probably will not even hear about it

however

the complaint goes in their permanent file

and this makes it harder for them to get promoted ;)

Fuck bro, I've been doing this since about '99 ... 3/4 of the time they apologize and let me go, I've had a few guys call my bluff but in the end I persavered and got the their supervising officer's name and their badge number
most of the time they will piss their pants, esp. if they are rookie's.  That or I tell them that my uncle is the editor of the local newspaper and he would love to do a story on corrupt cops harrassing innocent civilians and powertripping ;)

lol biggest crock of shit.. every person who gets a speeding ticket can write a complant. and of course the complaints do come in regularly. if your doing your job thats expected. however they have no bering on anything.. in fact the good officers usually do have more complaints because they know your not sitting on your ass all day.

I've always been curious about this as well. I think this would be a really interesting job.  I dont understand people that get pissed when they get a ticket.  You do understand the most of the time its nothing personal, its just there job. If you dont want a ticket then dont speed its as simple as that.
