The costs today for the funeral expenes (extra police, road closures, street cleaners, and more) is estimated at $4 million dollars. People complained like crazy when the cost of the parade of the Lakers winning was $1 million, of which private donations paid close to $800,000 of it.
Has anyone from the Jackson family or any of the wealthier friends or businesses offered to give the city back some money for this public 'celebration'
$4 million dollars would sure go a long way to save some teachers jobs out here.
By the way, 30 patrol officers needed for the procession from the home in Encino, which they closed the street making a traffic nightmare for people actually going to work, to Forest Lawn.
