No.  I would venture to say that most gay men are not interested in the extremes represented by pro bodybuilding physiques.  There is a segment of men who are; they attend shows, buy videos, magazines, post on message boards, etc and because they patronize bodybuilding it is easy to conclude that “gay men like bodybuilders” but that would be a false conclusion.  

Most people (gay or straight) like someone who is in shape, whatever that means, but to like someone like Coleman or Branch you gotta be a schmoe.  Schmoes come in many different flavors: gay, straight, bi, and bi-curious.  

I still find it amusing that so many guys on getbig—and who have been here for a long time—claim that they are not interested in pro bodybuilding.  If you can name the last three guys who won the Mr. Olympia you are interested in pro bodybuilding and you are a schmoe.  If you weren’t you wouldn’t be here.
