Video no longer available! Also says it was '87, not '89. Guess I'm getting old. I thought it was the same year as the Giant's/A's World Earthquake Series.

Can't find it anywhere. Couldn't find Ozzie's bare-hander either. MLB's pretty protective of their stuff, it seems.

Wikipedia says '89 too, so you guys are probably right. Earthquake Series, yeah.

Of course there's been better catches (Edmonds' catch comes to mind), but, when put into the context of the situation, it ranks up there as one of the greatest.

I agree about Tyree's catch being the greatest, though, both in context, and the physical catch itself.

Yeah, context matters, I was just talking spectacular and such. And I forgot about Edmonds - his was SICK!
