It's the biggest sport in the world because all it takes is a fucking ball and you can play soccer. I don't see the correlation between a lot of people playing something and that making it good.

Most of the third world bathes in the same water they defecate in. Must mean it's good!

Like I said, just because a lot of people play something doesn't mean shit. The reason most people play soccer over any other sport is that you can take any ball that's filled with air and play soccer. Doesn't make it good. Makes it popular. I don't expect poor people to be running around in football pads or tackling each other in a back alley.

And for what it's worth, rugby is 1000x more entertaining than soccer.

There are some boring games, that happens in any sport, I get bored during the Superbowl when they're constantly swopping Defense/Offense, time-outs, etc. But when you get a good game, football is awesome.

Last three years Recre (Real Club Recreativo de Huelva) was playing in La Liga de Primera División, but this past league descended to 2º División. Anyway this league is by money presupuest the 5th o 6th in Europe. I hope we can go up and back again to La Liga.

No way La Liga is more competitive than the EPL. They are a two horse race every year similar to the SPL except their team are a little more expensive.

Michael Owen has a golden hamstring, I don't rate Rooney as well as I rate Teves, and their midfield need to break out the walking frames this season.

Oh, and nobody has pep-rallies. That's Amercian shit.

I think Rooney and Tevez are very similar players, both will run all day long, both give everything for the team, both spend more time defending than attacking. I think Tevez will do very well at City.
