Never actually seen an entire fight with girls, And to be honest, I was dissapointed.. I thought they were gonna be better then that..

1st time here also. it's like gina got a bunch of cupcake matches to move up or something. cy is hard for a chick. as far as fight went...with girls it's going to be a cat fight no matter how skilled or weight strong they are...just dont have the raw upperbody strengh of men. in a rematch if necessary gina would have to out kick her, is dead meat on the floor or exchange fist shots. anyway...cy did walk through about 3 elbows i saw that must say something about her?

Cyborg is way better fighter.

But Carano has resisted way longer than i imagined.

Poor technique from the both of them... And cyborg had a americana LOCKED IN and she trains BJJ and couldn't finish it

maby I just told myself they would look better then they did.

In k-1 and kickboxing etc the girls are NUTS when they fight... they look 10000% better then compared to this..

Its BASIC BJJ training that when you do a americana you keep the arms CLOSE to the opponents body, and preferebly as low as possible, close to the obliques NOT above her fucking shoulder.. Very very very very basic.... And she did it competly wrong

There's a huge difference between 'what you learn in class' and what you're able to execute once the bell rings.

I wasn't surprised that Gina left herself open for that, but I also wasn't that surprised when she was able to escape. I thought that she would end up being submitted by a sneaky joint lock.

That may have been Cyborg's only mistake, but it was just a positioning issue. Gina doesn't know ground counters well at all, but she's strong.

Gina didn't put on the show I expected which meant that Cyborg couldn't showcase all her skill, but all in all, it was a good fight.
