The same backwoods David Duke, former head of the All-American and legal Terrorist organization called the KKK? The same one who got chin implants and the lot, just to change his image...

Man Matt C, you are going to fuck up your daughter for life, have her on talk shows, talking about effed up dad, and or having her in blacks on blonde porn videos....

Do you agree women should be more worried about men sexually assaulting them than women?

depends, if the women are in prison or not...And why should a woman be "worried". that means that, that particular act is constantly on their mind.

Do you know thaat more women are going to college, grad school, and Law school, than men, regardless of race? So by your logic, a man sould be worried that woman will take his job, or earn more than him, instead of a man doing that.

Walking outside late at night, should a woman be more worried about a young man or an old woman?

Nice try with the old woman ::) And depends on the circumstance...see below.
Depends, nowadays, a lot of women have issues with each other...today more women are more apt to run their mouths and assault each other, I tend to see that ona regular basis. It used to be that it was the woman who would use a weapon, because it was thought of as unmanly to use one in a fight, now you see more men use weapons, but more women getting into fistfights with each other...

I knew a girl that would go to clubs real late, by herself, and she would be the only female leaving when the club closed...dudes would follow her and try to get with her, she would start scratching her arms and when they would come closer she would scratch even more furiously. They would say, "you need to get that checked out"...That was her way of dealing with the issue of being by herself, late at night, but that was her own doing....

Knowing where I was going with my questioning you are actually seriously suggesting you are just as worried about women walking down the street at night as men.  Just classic.

That's the beauty of Socratic questioning - you either get the person to answer the question exactly as you intended or get them to post something as preposterous as you did above.  Either one means the questioner has succeeded using the method.

In a court of law, if you answered a prosecutor's question with something as absurd as the above, how idiotic do you think you would look like to the judge?  Again, that's the point of Socratic question.  Your response was very good.

published in '03. still a good read.

Quote
"The Sink" tells the how, when and why of criminal and terrorist money laundering, the murky and ultra-secret world where the line between legitimate business and crime vanishes. In 1994, when Jeffrey Robinson, author of "The Laundrymen", first brought to the world's attention the problems of dirty money - revealing how otherwise legitimate lawyers, bankers, accountants and even governments were helping drug traffickers hide the proceeds of their crimes - he labelled money laundering the world's third largest business, estimating that at any given time there was around $300 billion circling the globe, looking to get clean. Now, in the sequel to "The Laundrymen", Robinson calculates that the dirty money business has doubled in less than ten years and is ever more sophisticated (law enforcement and concerned governments flounder in its wake) - and he lays the blame on the offshore world. In an eye-opening piece of investigative journalism, Robinson reveals the state of the art of business-as-crime worldwide. As vast profits are turned into seemingly legitimate money, lawyers, bankers, accountants, brokers and governments have sold out to the mob and terrorists learn the lessons too and use Western financial networks to finance attacks on those same systems.

You know nothing about questioning, about law, nor did I write anything preposterous, I was going off of experience and knowledge i have gained...You need to get out more...your narrow minded view of things shows thru every post you make. Especially the post you made saying that mulatto children's intelligence is between that of black and white.
Your are a hybrid of a village idiot and xenophobic ignoramus, who prentends that he is intelligent, just to mask his own insecuries of his lack defining himself. Keep pretending, and your world may come crumbling down on you in a very spectacular way.

Just finished The Forever War by Dexter Filkins.

An incredible book. Won a Pulitzer for non fiction.

Quote
Cormac McCarthy sets his new novel, The Road, in a post-apocalyptic blight of gray skies that drizzle ash, a world in which all matter of wildlife is extinct, starvation is not only prevalent but nearly all-encompassing, and marauding bands of cannibals roam the environment with pieces of human flesh stuck between their teeth. If this sounds oppressive and dispiriting, it is. McCarthy may have just set to paper the definitive vision of the world after nuclear war, and in this recent age of relentless saber-rattling by the global powers, it's not much of a leap to feel his vision could be not far off the mark nor, sadly, right around the corner. Stealing across this horrific (and that's the only word for it) landscape are an unnamed man and his emaciated son, a boy probably around the age of ten. It is the love the father feels for his son, a love as deep and acute as his grief, that could surprise readers of McCarthy's previous work. McCarthy's Gnostic impressions of mankind have left very little place for love. In fact that greatest love affair in any of his novels, I would argue, occurs between the Billy Parham and the wolf in The Crossing. But here the love of a desperate father for his sickly son transcends all else. McCarthy has always written about the battle between light and darkness; the darkness usually comprises 99.9% of the world, while any illumination is the weak shaft thrown by a penlight running low on batteries. In The Road, those batteries are almost out--the entire world is, quite literally, dying--so the final affirmation of hope in the novel's closing pages is all the more shocking and maybe all the more enduring as the boy takes all of his father's (and McCarthy's) rage at the hopeless folly of man and lays it down, lifting up, in its place, the oddest of all things: faith. --Dennis Lehane
