He's from the Netherlands Antilles which is a Dutch colony. Roellie is rather a derivative from 'Roel'. Roel is a typical Dutch name, Roellie isn't.

I wonder why people are surprised that black people in The Netherlands have Dutch names, but think it's logical that black people in the US have English names.

It's confusing. Google returns 12,600 hits for "Roelly winklaar" and only 423 for "Rulove winklaar". Anyway, I think you're right because http://www.rulovewinklaar.com/ must be his homepage.

Yes, he's training at Flexx Gym in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. His first show will be the 2010 Arnold Classic.
