and what is the difference between nasser and the likes of shawn ray and kevin levrone in this??.. of course all of them are not known by everybody in any random street.. bodybuilding is far away from being one of the top sports when we talk about its popularity.. so normal ppl may not know nasser because his sport is not that popular and not because he was not an important figure in it!!..

He's obviously not as public of a figure as a Hollywood actor or that sort, however he is known by many. I spent 6 days in San Diego and each day a few random people would approach him and know who he is, and say and a few respectful words. Even if I take a bunch of people I know and ask each if they know of Nasser, quite a few will.

bobs for sure meant a public figure among the bodybuilding world and not the whole world and sorry to say you dont have any sense not to get his very clear meaning.. sure any bodybuilding fan knows nasser very well as one of the best ever, as the 3 times (at least) uncrowned mr. olympia of the 90s, as the most symmetric mass monster ever, as the 300 pounds with abs beast, and above all as the by far most friendly and generous bodybuilder ever with his fans...
