Agreed.  And unlike others that have tried their hand in the role, when Bale puts on the suit, there is a distinct differentiation between Batman and Bruce Wayne.  Clooney and Kilmer (who were horrible) for example, just played the role like Bruce Wayne wearing the suit, rather than embracing Batman as its own character.

I would actully say that Kilmer was a better choice then all of them...sadly the movie he was in, had a weak script, and an even weaker director in Schumaker...

Bale often carries himself like a whiny bitch...Kilmer was probably the best overall choice out of the ones so far...

Bale. Physically, he is a lot more believable and is just as good an actor as Michael Keaton, although he played a better Batman than Keaton did. He also has a much better presence than Keaton, who just blends in with the crowd.

It's like the Joker - Jack Nicholson did a great job, but Heath did a better one.

Uhh, probably, that's BECAUSE he is portraying a young Batman, as in BATMAN BEGINS!

almost like the cartoon, The Batman, where it shows the Batman as he first starts out. and Batman Beyond, shows the Batman as older man, showing a younger Batman the ropes

i think he had the best look and voice

bale's voice was annoying, clooney was awful, keaton was good but it's hard for to think of beetlejuice as batman
