just did a little reading on the guy. He played his first 3 years at rg and last year was his first year at lt. Texas tech was ranked 87th in sacks allowed  .

LT is obviously the most meaningful position on the o-line and moving an all-american rg to lt obviously means there was a lack of talent/experince available on that team and that rg is was really his natural position.

haha, hard to argue with you...Det needs so many things....but at least they have a solid young QB and WR.....how is Kevin Smith coming along?  Hated to hear that for him.

You can find a quality Running back in the later rounds, (Shon Greene) Detroit needs a LT that can protect him and Jeff Backus is not the answer. I would like to see Detroit trade down and take C.J. Spiller.... C.J. was a beast at Clemson and played with injuries and still carried that team!! I think that Detroit may wind up taking Russel Okung out of Oklahoma State.

Kevin Smith was/is a wr playing running back   he is fast but not big enough.   Kind of like Felix.

I think Spiller got robbed of winning the Heisman.  He was the only true running back in the draft.   I like Toby but he is more of a fullback.   And I am still not sold on Ingram.   SC has 10 Ingrams waiting to play.....once they get off academic probation.

I'm not sure Spiller can handle the workload as a featured NFL back....not very big and got banged up at Clemson.  He hardly ever ran between the tackles, it was all outside foot races.  He was only the featured back at Clemson for 1 season.  Great all-around player though.

Ingram will be a solid back, but not a star. 

I think Toby could end up being the most productive of the 3, on the right team.  He could handle the pounding and is actually much more shifty than people expect/think.  Ideal goalline back.

Spiller would work well with our two backs and one would be out with the addition of C.J. Spiller and C.J. did everything for the Tigers. I have liked his play ever since he stepped foot on the campus of Clemson.
