-health care- decided to focus on creating a reform package that would increase coverage to the fullest extent that the right wing would "allow". he is compromising and crossing the lines, but doing so on major principles. very much like bill clinton in this regard (compromising for right wing support). he should stop pussy footing and put his full support behind universal one payer healthcare.


-global warming/climate change- epic fail. he understand the fact that we dont have any time to stop carbon emmissions. yet he has takenno action. he worries about economy, health care, home prices, but how can their be an economy if we are all dead because we cant survive on a planet with that high of co2 levels.  get on the ball, nig-g-g-a.

HAHAHA  What a jackass Amereecan statement.  have you ever been outside of these borders?  Don't believe the bullshit stories you are reading about that demonize healthcare in places like Canada, France and England.  The life expectancy in those countries are way higher than here.  Sure America has some of the best doctors but that's because those are doctors that are chasing the $$$$ that moved here.  Wait lines?  I have a fucking premium health insurance plan here and it still took me about 3 months to see a dermatologist.  It's all bullshit.  The system here was designed by Kaiser.  Kaiser convinced Nixon to allow the hospitals and insurance to run the show and do what the hell they want.

we have that now.  one for the poors is called medicare and it's going bankrupt quickly.  plus it's government run.  my wife works at a pharmacy, and she said a medicare claim is living hell.  it takes up to 2 hours sometimes to process a $30 claim cuz laquesha at the other end who works for medicare just don't give a fuck.

Not really.  A lot of the saudis fly to England.  But Canada is not a charge per operation type system.  The US is.  Like I said the US has some of the top docs in the world.  Good luck seeing one unless you have money.  having Friends and actually living there are two different things.  leave the US borders and see the world and then come back and tell us how it is.

agree.  they have that now, its actually Medicaid.  Medicaid is for the poor.  they pay docs less just like the public plan will do.  result?  no docs see medicaid!   they have to go to resident run clinics, and their wait times is usually greater than 6 months, and since docs loose money seeing them, they do the bare minimum.  truly a shame.

Australia has a better healthcare system than America currently does. My uncle has lived in the states for 20 years, moved back to Aus 2 years ago, and according to him, Aus provides both a better public and private healthcare system than the US.
