  That is called posing oil and stage lighting, dumby. In one Ronnie is backstage without having oil applied yet and is under common lighting. In the 1999 picture he is all oiled up ontage with lights on him on a darkened background. This is not hard to understand.

I agree and what good are improvements when you also degress in other areas, bigger and ass...thats not really improvement. his abs look hideous in that 99 hands clasped most muscular

that Ronnie gained serious size and gained conditioning from the 97 olympia where he placed 9th to his Mr. O wins in 98/99 where he placed first..

Watching Ronnie progress through the years....there are 3 major size jumps he made....from 95 to 96 (upped the drugs), then 97 to 98 (even more drugs), then 02 to 03 (finally stopped over dieting)

having said that, he made a 10 pound increase from 98 to 99 too.

his quads were MASSIVE by 99: made his 97 legs look like Arnold's legs in 1980.
