Yes,I remember him. If memory serves me, he had thick grayish hair and a moustache and looked like weighed 180 or under. Had a pretty good physique.

that's right.

He was fromMass, I think.

He also competed in an IFBB Grand Prix  show along with new comer ronnie mangum and I believe this was held in Boston. Placed out of the Money...I think Boyer Coe was winning then.

That is the mag.

His name is MANGUM.

He'd tell people it was MAGNUM, I guess bc he thought it was more cool.

NOT natural. One of the progenitors of the 'I don't juice' bs line.

No Bix.

that is Rons' website, and he spells it the way he wants to...'Magnum'.

Unless he had it legally changed...it was/is 'Mangum'.

He's about 6-7 years older than me, I grew up in his locality, knew him personally until he skipped out to the islands to open a gym about as big as your living room.

Yes, the early references to him are Mangum.

Lenny is a good friend of mine and is a trainer at my gym.

I have tried to get him to post here but since he's as old as dirt, he has no idea what the internet is. ;D

I will try to get him to check this link out.

By the way........ he still looks good for his age, but has been dealing with a torn bicep and a hernia.

His birthday was reported as Jan 31, 1946, so he is currently 63, if the reference is correct.
