He uses wrist wraps for most movement, but honestly would you need hooks for 50lb dumbells?

No I try to be smart with straps, only above 70-80 per side.
Maybe he had cramps from the diuretics or it was holy ground

I don't think so. besides.. He sat there hovering with the weights 1/2 inch above the ground when he could have just dropped them.
