Have you seen that movie "Red" with Bruce Willis?  There is a scene where they go to a hotel in NO...I stayed in that exact hotel....haha, it was a dump.  It's easy to spot because the office is funky shaped and sticks out from the end of the bldg.  One of the guys pissed in the closet, by mistake....the reply the next morning?  "well, it improved the smell...."  ;D

The very first time and day I went to NO, we got there in the middle of the day and found a bar with some pool tables to just hang-out at....couple of locals wanted to play us for money, we won......and kept winning the double or nothing thing.....and they got all pissed and said they weren't going to pay us.....the bartender/bouncer came over with one of those leather flapjack things, smacked the table next to them and made them pay us......we high tailed it out of that part of town......  that whole city is flat out crazy !!!  Great time though.
