Hedge thats not really true.  There were many people, myself included, who were disgusted at Bush for many issues.

The House GOP did not vote for TARP remember?  That was Bush/Pelosi/McLame/Obama/Paulson/Geithner

It was the house GOP that killed amnesty for illeglas. 

I was disgusted at NCLB & Medicaire Drug bill - those were Bush and the Dems, not the conservatives. 

CFR was horrible IMHO as well.   

FACT:  BUSH didn't start having any relevant opposition from his own side until well into his second term.  You can't point yourself out as a truth reflective of the bigger picture of republican support during the Bush years.  nice try but it's not going to fly for anyone who was paying attention during those years.  even here, the vast bulk of material I posted on was strongly defended by the right. the only people on the right that vocally opposed Bush on things from the start were the self identified true conservatives like Pat Buchanan

Whether it contains pork or not, it did not work and is a complete failure and waste of money, just as many of us said.

one thing that is a yes or no though is whether the bill contained pork which apparently straw believes it doesnt...
