Something about this does sound fishy...now he's saying he won't be ready by January ?!!? WTF how much time does he need...even if he had the worst imaginable flu, a doc would immediately put him on massive doses of antibiotics and that shit would be out of his system in 5 days the LATEST.

In boxing you can be striped of your belt if you don't defend it in a timely manner....ex...1-2 times in a 12 month cycle i believe....What month was Brock's last fight in?I'm not sure if UFC has any such rule but there should be one to avoid someone staying champ for 1-2 years without fighting much...if at all...I don't care what the excuse is if you cant/wont defend your belt more than once a year then your not a true champion anyway....

Gonzaga bullied Carwin around plenty until Carwin got in that lucky punch. If Gonzaga can do it, I don't see what trouble Brock would have.
