Great post BF.  It just bothers me that people lump all religions together, yet there is only one that calls for widespread violence.  I think many just have issues with Christianity in general, and use this as a tool to bash it.

No one could ever forget the oil so why bother including it in every post?

Tell you what, BF..... Go visit a few fundamentalist Christian sites and read what their dogma is. After that come back and post, LOL! You're too smart of a guy to pretend there's no religious motivation for us being over there.

We (most Americans) could give two shits about anyone over there and would care even less if there were no oil and Israel were located in Germany after the holocaust. That callousness towards the suffering, perspective, rights, or even basic human dignity of others is one of the things that defines America.

I can't recall ever using the term 'overlord', LOL! Really not in my vernacular. Without a doubt the pro-Israel lobby and Neocons are the most powerful influence on our Mid East policy. In my opinion that's a bad thing because their agendas probably aren't good for most Americans who just want good schools, jobs and a piece of the dream. I'm against all spending outside the US that isn't for bombs or to stop immigration and also don't really believe the economy will turn around until we return manufacturing to our shores.
