I normally go with 1 gr. protein x bodyweight, then the rest of my calories come form carbohydrates and fats. I typically lean towards a bit more carbs than fats, but I still eat fat, I don't do low anything. Then I just manipulate calories to whether lose fat or gain muscle/weight.

Ive just been on a high carb diet for a long time.. and read so much about too much insulin affecting test levels/gh release. Gonna try low carb (again.. ) for awhile.
Candi--you've been both sides now, what do you prefer? (when you're off gear that is....i'm natty)

I don't count calories, grams or what I take in of each. But I know that I'm doing a High protein, low carb low/med fat type of diet.
On any given day, I'm usually taking in around 300g of protein, probably something around 80-100g carb and probably close to the 80g of fat mark. All just "guestimates" though.

Right now, I'm doing a high protein, moderate fat, carb cycling diet. High carb days- 400g Medium- 200-250g Low 100-125g.. My high carb days I use when I train bigger body parts (Chest/Back/Legs) Medium (shoulders) Low (arms) and off days. I keep my fats around 30-45 grams mostly from Salmon, Eggs (regular and Omega 3), Nuts, Olive Oil..

off gear i think isocaloric diet is good.. carbs mainly around the workout, a bit higher protein than is necessary, and ample fats to make sure hormones are steady
