They are underdeveloped compared to upper body. But : structure and shape is there, I can see it .... tiny joints, symetry and proportions. As I said before and I think I'm spot on : you have genetics for competitive bodybuilding and I'm sure you shoud do 1 show just for fun. It will be a fun filled learning experience.
I agree they aren't at the level of my upper body (yet) , but they sure aren't "toothpicks" like a lot of people assume.
I've been squatting regularly for the last six months, which is something I never did before. I never "felt" squats working my thighs like I did on presses and extensions, so I figured they weren't for me or my legs genetics just sucked
But after being frustrated for years of not getting the results I wanted with my methods, I decided to give them another go and really stick with it, and they came around.
I know I don't have crazy thighs but they have grown more in the last six months of hard squatting then they did with years of presses.
