This whole thing is a bad idea. Convictions are far from a certainty, and these guys are going to have tons of savvy attorneys representing them just so that they can make a big name for themselves. A lot of evidence won't be admissible and even more will never be presented in order to protect our intelligence gathering methodology.
At this point, I just hope that the judges adjudicating these cases aren't too interested in helping these people when making their decisions on motions, etc.
