He's very well-spoken, but here's the part I don't understand.

At the beginning, she asks, "Have you ever used steroids?" and his response is "Absolutely not".

Then, during the course of expounding on his answer, he says, "I can't tell you I haven't, but you'll never be able to prove that I have."

...

GetBig - how days "absolutely not" equate to "I can't tell you I haven't"?  I'm looking for the logical link there.

Yeah.
"I can't tell you I haven't," makes it sound like he has, which lacks continuity with his previous claim of, "Absolutely not."

He should've said - and I think he meant - "I can tell you I haven't..."
That would be more in line with the idea that: I can tell you the truth, but neither of us can prove it either way. That's why it's a "crazy" question.

His poor selection of words bottle fed CNN the opportunity to do what they did - something they would've done anyway, but this made it easier.

oh brother. Vince told him to go to rehab (at his expense) 3 or 4 times and he refused. Their grown men, you can't force them.

he can try...if hes signing those checks every month

He looks way too thick and dense there to be clean IMO.  Looks like he's had gyno surgery too.

I blame this craziness on both Vince and the individual themself.

Vince has that mind hold on you that says " if you're injured, get well quick otherwise you will loose your spot on the roster".

Wrestler themself realizes this and says, "better do whatever it takes to get back". I can go to TNA and maybe make $1000 a night and for those of you who watch TNA, they only wrestle 1 or 2 days a week.

I would be curious as to how many wrestlers have college degrees or something to truly fall back on regarding a career.

Most mid carders and below are making $300K and less per year. Sounds like alot but these guys are 1099 employees so take out insurance, airlines, car rentals, etc etc this $300K is now maybe $100K and lets face it, alot of these guys live in the now and don't prepare for a rainy day i:e retirement...

When a wrestler says, I don't want to retire, I love the lights, fans etc....most of the time it's BS...they need to wrestle to pay their bills!

very good point. maybe only a few of those guys are smart enough to make a real living when their wrestling days are over. the rest of them usually ended poor, or Dead

I remember his brother posting on Mayhem claiming he was a life time natural and use to squat 700lbs for reps and do shrugs with a 1000lbs  ::)
