Sgtspar..the A-team movie has been in the works long before rampage was even chosen for TUF 10. It fell through because of lack of financing for the movie. Once the movie got financed, prioduction was back on, rampage had to re-read for the part again, he got the part. What you don't understand about rampage is IT'S ABOUT THE MONEY, the money he's getting for the A-team is about 10x's what his comtract is with the UFC, its a no brainer no matter what how you look at it. He finishes filming next week and then after Christmas he starts preparing to fight Rashad around May or so then after that he starts with another movie. So....use some commonsense, more money to act or less money to get kicked in the head?

If it was in the works before TUF 10, he shouldn't have agreed to fight Evans. If it fell through, he should have fought Evans as agreed, and then made the movie. Instead, he spent the season talking shit to Evans, knew he was going to get his ass kicked, and retired. Not to mention, the movie deal may be worth ten times the UFC contract, but if he burns that bridge, then the movie flops, as its sure to, he may still get to fight Evans. Since he is concentrating on being a movie star, you have to think his training for MMA is gonna take a back seat. He probably can't beat Evans on his best day, so with his training suffering from the acting career, he is gonna get his ass handed to him. At that point, his fighting career is shot, his movie career never got off the ground, and he is a janitor at a school somewhere, and having beers over bowling with a fat samoan talking about how great they were in the good old days. Common sense?

1) Because as soon as someone thinks they are going to be an actor, singer, or indian chief, they are no longer focused on being a fighter. To fight in the top ten of any weight class in today's MMA, you damn sure better be focused on fighting.

2) Dana White is a complete asshole, but you're on pretty shaky ground saying that Rampage only cares about money and that is what he based his decisions on, so he is smart. On the other hand, White bases all his decisions on money, so that means he fucked Rampage over. You can't have it both ways.

I agree, and that DOES worry me. Rampage has the A-Team movie out of the way as of next week and I probably won't see him till about February, he is getting back and moving back in with his wife Yuki and to be with his kids, for right now he NEEDS to concentrate on that. He's getting his priorities straight. Then his camp begins. I trust he will be fine.

Wrong! Lesnar cuts to make 265. He steps into the cage at about 280. That is what Mir is hoping to do. If you listen to his interviews, he talks about how he has found a way to incorporate weights into his training so that he can be stronger and more explosive. He no longer trains like a bodybuilder just to bulk up and have a pretty physique.

You're clueless. Quinton "Douchebag" Jackson made over 300K of reported income on his last UFC fight PLUS he gets a cut of the PPV. A 107 PPV between him and Rashad would have done enough buys to put his comp at 1 million or more, so by your logic he's getting 10 mil to run around in gold chains and say "I pity the fool". Nice try. He cares about himself and himself only, not the fans and not the UFC without whom the producers would have never even been interested in him. Rashad will beat his ass and hopefully that will be the last we have to hear from this asshole again.
