I was talking to a guy in the gym about this just this morning. Sounds like a load of shit. $13000 for lifters to be allowed to use their equipment. What a joke! If powerlifting was a professional sport then perhaps that sort of financial demand could be made, but I think it's excessive. I think the number of IPF lifters may drop...

Another thing, I heard somewhere that Metal had agreed to pay the fee, but the IPF didn't accept and put them on the banned list. Not sure if this is true or not. Anyone know?
