Did you read the article?

Are you denying 240's allegations, ...or simply avoiding 240's question?

No, But that was ont the only plank of the party.   Her husband has never been a really a hugely political person.

But again Jag, unless you have an equal problem with obama and michelle in Rev, Wrights church for 20 years and friendship with Bill Ayeres and Rashidi, your complaints against the palins are empty.

They are not even remotely the same either.

BYT - Obama was a member of the socialist party at one time.

yep - I even read the highlighted quote where the unnamed McCain party spokeshole issued the standard denial (I wonder if it was the same person who later called Palin a pathological liar)

here's the part they were denying (also in the article)

Lynette Clark, the chairman of the AIP, told ABC News on Monday that Palin and her husband Todd were members in 1994, even attending the 1994 statewide convention in Wasilla. Clark was AIP secretary at the time.

"It never came up in conversation," Clark recalls. "But ...our platform was right under her nose."

And while McCain's motto -- as seen in a new TV ad -- is "Country First," the AIP's motto is the exact opposite -- "Alaska First -- Alaska Always."

The AIP platform states that the purpose of the party is  to "seek the complete repatriation of the public lands, held by the federal government, to the state and people of Alaska in conformance with Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17, of the federal constitution ... To prohibit all bureaucratic regulations and judicial rulings purporting to have the effect of law, except that which shall be approved by the elected legislature ... To support the privatization of government services ...”

look 33, your article was about sarah - I am talking about 'first dude' todd.

When you say "Her husband has never been a really a hugely political person".... You gotta be shitting me.  He intentionally left his own party and joined a fringe separist group.  That's a pretty huge statement right there.  how many people flippantly leave their party to join parties dedicated to LEAVING AMERICA?

I like many of palin's positions, but don't think she's presidential caliber.  I think she's a great face for a dept of energy under the thune admin, with a phd under her doing the technical work and her giving lots of gung-ho energy speeches.  So I'm not shitting on her here.

I'm pointing out her hubby - who was admittedly involved with many things in her office - spent 7 years REGISTERED, VOTING and ATTENTING a group that basically didn't love this country.  It's that simple.  Just admit, that party is anti-american and her man showed up 7 years for them :(

Straw, you may disagree with 333 and not like Palin but I have no doubt they wish the best for this country and love this country and it's history more than most far left liberals.

What makes you think that?

Isn't it just that different people have different ideas for what is "best" for their respective country?

I dont have his voting record in front of me.

As far as being registered for the party, sure it does not reflect well on him, but is anyone really proud to be a dem or repub right now either?

If crap 7 tax, this health care leviathon, amnesty for illegals, a VAT tax, and other communist shit from Maobama go through, I will think about joinging a group like that myself since we will no longer be america anyway.  .

Wrong.  There are certain things that are simply not in that category.  I am so tired of that line of shit.  Being buddies with domestic terrorists who bombed the pentagon, in a racist hate church for 20 years, trying to sell our country down the river on a platform of "no communist idea left behind" is simply not whats best for this country.

What's up with this "Obama is a communist" dogma?

Is it "if we call him a communist enough times, people will start to believe he is, regardless of what is the truth"?

What domestic terrorists that bombed the pentagon is Obama buddies with BTW?

its cool you admit it doesnt reflect well on him.  This was 94 thru 2001.  And either Dem or Repub is better than the "leae the country party"

This thread isn't about obama. You started it about why you adore the Palins.
The socialist party wasn't looking to break up the USA.

If you are neither denying his allegations, nor avoiding the question, why won't you answer it instead of dodging and looking to deflect the issue?
