Was a pretty girl especially when she didn't looked starved. Hope it wasn't drugs but it looks likely. If someone doesn't do something for Lohan I predict something similar. Sad loss to lose anyone so young RIP

Crazy that even Bodybuilders like Palumbo or Kovacs outlive young, attractive Hollywood celebs.

Probabley a combo of painkillers(OC's) and zannax. Pretty common to take those and when you fall asleep you stop breathing

Husband Simon Monjack is one of those Svengali weirdos who came out of nowhere, took control of Brittany's life and finances and probably had her strung out like a zombie on 12 different drugs. So basically, a fat, jobless, British loser just lost an indentured servant but won a house and a few million bucks. Smart money says he's implicated in this.

A few weeks ago, her husband was rushed to the hospital. This was on 11/28/2009.

Brittany Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, was rushed to a hospital at LAX this afternoon after his plane landed at LAX. And we're told Britney didn't think it was serious enough for her hubby to go to the hospital, but the fire department disagreed.

The flight from Puerto Rico landed in Los Angeles at 2:40 PM today. We're told Monjack was incoherent when EMTs boarded the plane.

Murphy told the responding fire dept. personnel she thought it was an asthma attack, but the EMTs felt it could be more serious than that.

We don't know his condition.

We've left a message for Brittany's rep, but have not heard back.

Apparently she got fired from a film she was doing down there.

According to reports, Brittany Murphy was fired from an upcoming film that was shooting in Puerto Rico for being difficult on set and a detriment to production.

We're not sure which film, but Murphy's IMDB profile indicates that this film may have been The Caller, which also stars True Blood cast member Stephen Moyer.

It took about 15 seconds for Brittany to be replaced, too. Twilight and New Moon star Rachelle Lefevre reportedly hopped on a plane as soon as Murphy was out.

A source also says that Brittany was so pissed about getting booted from the film that she didn't want to leave Puerto Rico and had "plans to sabotage the film."

That would qualify her as a Grade A nut job.

The really interesting part of Brittany's movie set ouster was that the weird British con-artist she married in 2007, Simon Monjack, got into a fight with some locals.

Could there be a connection between the whole Puerto Rico incident and Monjack arriving at LAX airport "incoherent" and having to be hospitalized Saturday?

Murphy thought that Simon Monjack was having an asthma attack, but medical personnel boarding the plane evidently felt it might be even more serious.

Con-jack was released from the hospital last night and even picked up some burgers before heading home, but it makes you wonder ... burgers? Really Simon?!
