i used to do that, but i kept having to refill it once per workout...i drink between 1.5-2L during a workout

I carry a 550-mL stainless steel Nike Golf (no homo) waterbottle.  I refill it once per workout, and thus surmise mathematically that I consume 1100 mL of water per workout.
