Keep an eye on the SHOT show this year gentlemen.  There are rumors that Ruger and maybe even Remington will be jumping on the 1911 bandwagon in 2010.  Again, just rumors but you never know.
the model I have is a P90 not 40 and its styled like the 1911 but a tad shorter and a good amount thicker. I think the 1911 has become more popular lately with ppl who havent owned guns going out and buying one thanks to the newly elected president.

I think those ppl identify with the 1911's b/c you see them in all the movies and well lets face it the classic 1911 is one of the best looking hand guns ever made at least imo.

John Moses Browning was a freaking genius wasn't he?

Don't forget the Browning Hi-Power...another beautiful, well made gun.

The Winchester 64 lever action...another of Mr. Browning's creations.

Damn, I wish he was still alive designing firearms that worked AND looked good!!!

perhaps these fuktards think the man should have let them in and offered them coffee.

Its amazing to me to think that a person can think that someone who is breaking into another persons house to try and steal their hard earned property, their peace of mind, their security, IF NOT KILL THEM DOESNT DESERVE TO BE SHOT LIKE A DOG

+1

Well said

Number 2 bar none.  You will be very happy with the SA firearm itself, the Operater is a great size, and SA has great customer service if God forbid you have anything wrong with the gun.  It should be very fairly priced.

The Operator is the 4" model correct?

That's the one I would get.  After I get my M&P that's what I want.
