I like Howard Dean but he and Matthews are utterly clueless.

It makes perfect sense.  As I have said True Liberals and True Progressives DO NOT WANT either of these HealthCare bills so many did vote for Scott Brown to stop the bill.  Cockley would have most likely voted for the bill. So its easy to see why many Obama supporters voted for Brown instead.

I do not want either bill.  They both are bad in their current form.

Howard Dean shows that he is so full of shit, that he even makes "tingle up my legs" Mathews sound rational.

I don't buy that argument...true liberals would rather have one of their own in the seat than a conservative/republican--if kennedy did not die..he would have no doubt had no competition when up for reelection in 2012.  i think howard is thinking too much into this.

Wrong.  I have posted a thousand times that I DO NOT SUPPORT either of these bills and I am very, very liberal.  As I said, True Liberals and True Progressives are deeply troubled by these bills as well as Independents and Republicans.

Its quite simple to see why Obama voters voted for Brown.  Also, there is the Palin factor.  Many Obama voters voted for Obama/Biden because they realized Palin was a horrid and inept choice.  Normally they may have voted for a strong Republican ticket but could not due to Palin dragging the ticket down.

Palin just helped kill ObamaCare with one facebook posting.  Keep under-estimating her TA.

She will kill crap & tax next and the rest of the "progressive" i.e. communist agenda.

Most Republicans find Palin unqualified and they have a negative opinion of her.  I don`t think she matters to them.

The majority of Republicans don`t like her.  I don`t think she really matters to Republicans is all.

I'm sure you must have read the report in the news today, where the "Nobel-prize winning" climate scientists admitting some huge errors on their report that claimed the Himilayan Glaciers could melt by 2035. When the data was recently reviewed, it turned out the findings indicated it was more likely to happen in the year 2350..over 300 years difference! The scientists claimed it wasn't intentional and isn't significant. Al Gore just went, "Oh snap."

You forgot to add this part:

But in a joint statement some the world's leading glaciologists who are also participants to the IPCC have said: "This catalogue of errors in Himalayan glaciology... has caused much confusion that could have been avoided had the norms of scientific publication, including peer review and concentration upon peer-reviewed work, been respected."

Michael Zemp from the World Glacier Monitoring Service in Zurich also said the IPCC statement on Himalayan glaciers had caused "some major confusion in the media".

"Under strict consideration of the IPCC rules, it should actually not have been published as it is not based on a sound scientific reference.

"From a present state of knowledge it is not plausible that Himalayan glaciers are disappearing completely within the next few decades. I do not know of any scientific study that does support a complete vanishing of glaciers in the Himalayas within this century."

What exactly are you trying to argue here? That the earth goes through heating and cooling cycles and always has ( fact, that by the way man has absolutly no control over) or that man is causing the earth to get warmer ( not a fact )

This will be a good report when its presented:

Last year, however, TERI launched a project to install high-tech sensors on three glaciers which it will use as benchmarks to assess the situation across the Himalayas.

Professor Hasnain, who is running the project, said that he would soon be presenting a report on the status of Himalayan glaciers, based on research works by Indian and international scientists published in different peer reviewed journals across the world.
