Actors act, they play characters, it 's not "them". A character might be only a little part of who they are. It also depends of the current trends. For example, clint eastwood played borderline racist cops or cowboys in the 70/80s cause it was what the public wanted to see, and in the 90/2000s played more sensitive and caring, fragile men. He married a latino woman in his real life.
In his last movie he portrays a racist old man who discover how racism is "bad". Funny isnt it, cause we all know we now live in a fake pro multiculturalist and politically correct society. In the end the guy only follows trends, markets himself well, makes shitloads of money and laugh all the way to the bank. He surfs on the mainstream public expectations. He also shapes people beliefs thru his films, because people are dumb enough to see him as a figure father when he's just a fucking actor. You dont know his real life, his thoughts... you only see him as a character you identify with. But you dont know him. You dont know how "alpha" he is in real life situations, same you dont know how "alpha" arnold s. is either when he has to drive his car to the local supermarket.
Alpha men dont exist. Beta males dont exist either. There are only men who struggles to survive, make a living, and raise their kids. Some people are better than others at it. Some can be very good at one thing, but completely fail at another.
Seeing men as either alpha or beta males is absolutely immature, simplistic and plain dumb. But nobody acts as arnold s. in predator, commando, true lies...nobody acts as clint E. in real life. Only kids believe in myths, in heroes. Grown men have better to do, they leave this alpha/beta male moronic crap to kids and retards.
Those who choose actors as role models also often lack or have weak father figures. Those who worship "big" "impressive" "muscular" "heroes" and their "virility" while being past their 20s are borderline repressed homosexuals.

And just to make it clear, anyone on here who posts pics of himself and want his "physique" and "lines" to be "judged" by other men, or who starts theads about how "amazing" a bodybuilder from 40 years ago was in his posing routine, is a fag in denial, period. You do not admire other men bodies without being a fag.
Re: Arnold. Well, he hasn't made a movie for years, the last thing most people see in him are his characters in his movies. However, he, as Arnold S. has mercilessly owned a number of people in public, he has charisma in real life as well, looks to have a great sense of humor, billionaire like No Scott Alexander etc-etc. So even if sometimes drives to the supermarket (and musclecenter post the paparazzi pics 10 minutes later), he seems to be an alpha man...
