That's because Obama, his image, his experiences, his platform, his "cool persona", the "progressives", et al are all based on a complete lie.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for anyone with buyers' remorse since they were warned many times and decided that the MSM kneepadding was more accurate than cold hard fact that was presented by many prior to the election.

You’re seeing people who once put party before country changing their tune.
I think we’re seeing a dwindling number of people who will vote for a candidate based solely on their political affiliation.

Bush destroyed that mentality for conservatives, and Obama is destroying it (even faster) for the leftists.
Maybe it will make people pay a little closer attention to WTF they’re voting for.

I wouldn't go that far. Again, Obama didn't even keep his (what I called) "low-hanging fruit" promises (i.e. healthcare debate on C-Span, no earmarks or lobbyists, etc.).

He didn't even live up to his abandoning the "politics of fear" deal. How many times were we told that everything from the collapse of the economy to the re-enactment of the Ten Plagues on Egypt would hit America, if his stimulus plan wasn't passed like YESTERDAY?

As far as I know I have said many times George S. Patton, Jr. is my favorite historical person and a hero.

during the speech, palin looked down at her paper notes a great deal.

I'd love to see her give a speech with no notes, no teleprompter. She has not yet done this. Even on the canned campaign speeches in 2008.

heck, Obama did plenty of Q&As in the past without any notes, and without resorting to cheat sheets on his hands.
