Very disrespectful of McCain, IMO.  McCain could have listned to his advisors and run a dirtier campaign, and he was very gracious in defeat.  His career is also one including numerous examples of him crossing party lines to get things done that he felt was good for America.

I just thought that was out of line.

I don't know that i've ever heard "palling around with terrorists' accusation made against a presidential contender like I did in 2008.

mccain did play a clean campaign - but he clearly let palin do the dirty work.
