They want private practices squeezed out and ultimately absorbed into hospital owned clinics. Hospitals (on the surface at least) have better infrastructures and only seem to worry about costs when nursing unions ask for more money.

There should be a little more parity for non-specialists but you're gonna have a hard time selling that when surgeons and other specialist have higher malpractice exposure, premiums and tail coverage factored into their professional component.

Its called taking away your freedom Kaje.  The gov t hates small business, small medical practices, small law firms, etc, since they have more freedom and lee way and control of their destiny. 

This communist C$%^ Obama is looking to take that away from you and have you be nothing more than an extension fo the govt.

It's been that way long before Obama. Politicians don't feel small businesses create enough jobs to justify real breaks. Also, sole proprietors don't have a good history of spreading the wealth, LOL! People who invest/risk everything aren't likely to over-reward employees when times are good.

No kidding!  I was explaining to my assistant that one of the best things I did was not over expand when money was rolling in like water so that now i am sitting fine with no debt whatsoever, low overhead, and still have decent cash flow.
