except these past 8 or so months i let myself go...its ok....i'm totally A-ok with it...

i kinda think of it as "parking the ferrari in the garage for a bit" time

Yep. Long hair rules.

On women and Sikhs.

Most men shave their heads if they are slightly thinning, but we've sussed that and so hate it. (Am I the only woman who dislikes bald or men playing bald? Doubt it.

So unattractive. I prefer luxurious tressess

...and obviously the more you cut it the longer it grows.

I myself gave up hairdos when I was about 17 (some joker apprentice from vidal sassoon did this sideways weirdo do on me. Dire. Took me ages to grow it out. Since then I've trimmed 1 inch from my hair every 6 months and it's been long, down my back for 20 years and is now going gray.

Can't stand all that topiary on men's faces either. Yuck. Some of them must spend hours in front of the mirror with a sharp razor in their hand and they end up looking like they tried too hard and are still so very ugly.

Either shave or don't.

Sounds like a plan kinda like spring cleaning. Yep Daytona in March Bike week been many times.

Just making an observation.

Mine, I grow my head hair, long down as far as it'll go. & I have two hair styles: clean and dirty.

2nd day I put it in a elastic band, I wash it every other day...

These are far from rules, simply they are the way I prefer to live. I learnt at an early age, after the stylist gave my number to the hair colourist at vidal sassoon and he kept phoning me and I screamed and ran. I've always had lovely long hair and they want to mess with it!

I find it totally incomprehensible that many women dye their hair blonde and look untouchable.

Oh and to answer your earlier query... Women cut their hair after relationship breakdowns, thinking things will look better or something.

Hopefully their hair will grow back...

Now question why do women bleach their hair blonde is that because they think this will be more attractive to men or is it approval from other women? Yes emotional upsets tend to bring on a chopping session.

"Long" is also a matter of opinion. I cut my hair to what I consider short, but to others it is still long.

Yes, I did it for a change, but I also cut off more than I was originally going to (by like 6inches!) so I could donate it to locks of love. Still was a few inches past my shoulders, but to me that is "short".
