Laundry list? And that justifies the loss of American lives? Breaking some agreement thousands of miles away doesn't justify in my mind any loss of american lives. IMO, BUSH was irresponsible in his handling of Iraq. We had war fever and he took advantage of it.
You can try to spin it anyway you want, but some agreement was a cease fire agreement. The gulf war did not end in an Iraqi surrender, we just stopped blowing them up and called for cease fire. Now if you think its OK for them to paint our jets with lasers and fire missles at them, when they agreed not to.......
Now I'm not saying Iraq was the smart move because it wasn't, and it's not hard to find info from those with boots on the ground about all the shit that was found in Iraq. You see the problem is Iraq did not have a delivery system, therefore the "WMD" can not be classified as such.
IMHO opinion every war the US has been in since WWII has been handled irresponsibly by politicians. I believe in total war, if you are going to fight you may as well do it right. Winning hearts and minds is a dumbass strategy that has yet to work, you kill em until they loose the will to fight, they might not like you but they will respect you and think twice about fucking with you a second time.
