That's my point, Coach. The NFL has some (psychological) mandate to issue IQ tests!?  ???

Yep. But on the other hand if you knew you about to his the lottery (the NFL lottery) would you still tell them to f**k themselves? Those players are there by invite only, you can't just walk on with a hope and a dream! But of course you get the degree, the average life of an NFL player is about 4 years for most positions.

Is the 4 years including QB's coach seems like they last longer, if having a good offensive line.

the wonderlic is cool because if you score (i think) a "5" (or below......or something like that) you are, technically, a "moron"

Not so much anymore. NCAA has cracked down on athletes in regards to academics. Last I heard they are limited to 20 hrs of practice time including S&C. Thats for all sports. I have a copy of the NCAA rules from last year, I will dig it out and see.

Hmm. I willing to bet that if you walk on with some serious speed or arm-strength, there's no depth that these teams won't go to sign you. It's all about the $.

You'd have to get noticed outside the combine to get invited in the combine.

That was the Georgia Bulldogs QB, right? Seriously, who in their right mind would pay their QB of the future millions of $$ when they have 1/2 a brain?

Baltimore, Indianapolis
N.Y. Jets, San Diego
Arizona, New Orleans
Dallas, Minnesota

These were the final 8 playoff teams this past NFL season.......they all have one thing in common.

And yet the most brilliant QB of all time... If the man retires and doesn't go into coaching he will be doing the world a huge dis-service

I'm surprised Russell even got 24.

http://walterfootball.com/draftwonderlica.php

It's 1:40am and I just scored 45 on that sample test...the 5 minutes goes by really quickly this late at night.

no...u have to be in D and E2 track in catholic high school, or remedial and special ed in public school.  no wonder why most of them dont even bother with class during college.  damn 2nd grade quiz.  how does anybody in the national felon league remember the playbook with the exception of 1-2 players per team who defy the odds.

1 NFL donated 30M to keep team in town
2 America's Team  ::).  What happen to Dallas?
3 The Feel Good Story
4. Saints winning awards katrina awards 4 yrs later
5 Best ratings ever for a sporting event for a worthless small market team

Mega BS Marketing.

Yep, the pathetic QB that played for Dallas, then run into legal and drug problems. Don't know what he is doing now, last I'd heard he might have either played arena football or the CFL.
