Good.  Get a life Michael Newdow.

"Both suits were filed by Michael Newdow, a Sacramento atheist who has filed numerous challenges to government-sponsored religious invocations."

I'm surprised TA hasn't dropped in with a five post meltdown and 27 wikipedia cut & pastes.

And "In God We Trust" is held up as being constitutional as well.  :)

I wish all these punks like TA, Newdow etc would all move to an island and create their own little marxist utopia and see how it works out.

The daily schoolroom ritual is not a prayer, but instead "a recognition of our founders' political philosophy that a power greater than the government gives the people their inalienable rights," said the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco in a 2-1 ruling.

Lurker and all the other idiots must be having a heart attack by now.

First of all I'm shocked that the 9th circus court ruled this way.

And more to the point, Neither phrase attempts to establish a state religion or stop someone from practicing theirs, so as far as I'm concerned it was the correct ruling.

Someone secure in their non-belief wouldn't get their panties in a bunch every time the word "God" gets mentioned.
