First of all I'm shocked that the 9th circus court ruled this way.

And more to the point, Neither phrase attempts to establish a state religion or stop someone from practicing theirs, so as far as I'm concerned it was the correct ruling.

Someone secure in their non-belief wouldn't get their panties in a bunch every time the word "God" gets mentioned.
