What about the people in their respective fields, do they care about what they think? To garne accolades from them? And many people get big egos from either money, fame, or smarts, or a combo of all three. It's all the same, lack of balance. We start to think we are better than, more deserving than, and then the sloppy slope starts become even more slippier. You've probably seen it yourself.
i can only relate to CCIEs that i know...ie top of their game in my field...thing with the CCIE is that the damn technology changes so fast that you r forever playing catchup...
almost all of the CCIE i know r pretty humble and nice guys....cause they can never get comfortable...they r always having to pick up a book and learn something new...
not the case with physics which for the most part , has not changed in years..dare i say 50 years or more
