People can't see how short you are in well done magazine spreads. The three guys you mentioned were well known in their times by schmoes and schmoettes. It's doubtful they would have been noticed anywhere without the aid of drugs, drugs and more drugs to make them muscular. Also, they probably had the ability to help careers of fitness chicks which translated into more ass.

Not saying there weren't nice guys with game but be real. No one would be short on purpose. Do the best you can with the hand God deal but don't be all defensive about something that can't be changed.

I've known many short players and the one thing they all had was confidence...to the point of being cocky. I don't care how good looking you are if you're a insecure bitch that's a total turn off to women. They should feel lucky to be with you not the other way around.
