Pain in lat
« on: September 10, 2010, 05:04:59 PM »
I did a back workout yesterday, came home and felt great. I took a nap and when i woke up had not so much a pain but more of a stiffness in my lat. It doesn't really bother me walking or standing, but hurts when i lay down or move quickly.

Here is a bodybuilder of compareable size with the spot in question

i am done with those damn things....the pain always starts in my lower back...then as my upper back compensates it starts hurting....

i have to use to much weight for them to work....no more of that shit...

How much weight did you use in your rack pulls?

Did you warm up/stretch at all before going heavy?

See what it feels like tomorrow

Prognosis positive :)

have u ever foam rolled?

try and do the basic upper back roll
the turn on your side and roll out each lat
then put the roller under your armpit, shift your body a bit away, and roll it out-if its very painful, then u are doing it right
