i love stories like this, real interesting shit

lot fo weird stories comeing from the former soviet unioin, the intrigue is heightened because of how closed off that society was from western scrutiny

but it seems that the place was hotbed of paranormal activity, particularly UFOs

i also love cryptozoology, and unidentified beings...this one is pretty common, but very very intereting

as for this......sometime reality is stranger then fiction

on a side note, i was interested (after seeing the disturbing stil photos) of palumbo on here to see a vido of him in competition on youtube, you know that i could not find a single one.  there are many videos of bodybuilders much less popular then palumbo on youtube and he competed for years.

is he so embarrassed of himself that he has them removed?

Early one mornin' while makin' the rounds
I took a shot of cocaine and I shot my woman down
I went right home and I went to bed I stuck that lovin' 44 beneath my head

Got up next mornin' and I grabbed that gun took a shot of cocaine and away I run
Made a good run but I run too slow they overtook me down in Juarez Mexico

Late in the hot joints takin' the pills in walked the sheriff from Jericho Hill
He said Willy Lee your name is not Jack Brown
You're the dirty hack that shot your woman down
Said yes oh yes my name is Willy Lee if you've got the warrant just aread it to me
Shot her down because she made me slow
I thought I was her daddy but she had five more

When I was arrested I was dressed in black
They put me on a train and they took me back
Had no friend for to go my bail they slapped my dried up carcass in that country jail

Early next mornin' bout a half past nine I spied the sheriff coming down the line
Talked and he coughed as he cleared his throat
He said come on you dirty heck into that district court
Into the courtroom my trial began where I was handled by twelve honest men
Just before the jury started out I saw the little judge commence to look about

In about five minutes in walked the man holding the verdict in his right hand
The verdict read in the first degree I hollered Lordy Lordy have a mercy on me

The judge he smiled as he picked up his pin 99 years in the Folsom pen
99 years underneath that ground I can't forget the day I shot that bad bitch down
Come on you've gotta listen unto me lay off that whiskey and let that cocaine be

you know that song was sung in the 30's? i thought it was custom Johnny Cash shit, but it was sung way before him. even the line ' when i was arrested i was dressed in black'

At 33yrs of age I'm still undecided if I believe in any type of a religious "God" so understand this recount of events comes from a skeptic.

1996 - My sister is in her Junior year of college at Lehigh University. She calls home and tells my Mother she is experiencing numbness in her fingers and arm. My Mom advises her she'll make a Dr's appointment as my sister would be coming home that week to visit. At this point there wasn't a high level of alarm as my sister had also had never damage done in that very arm from an accident where she was cut with broken glass in her hand.

Day two - My sister calls home and advises my Mother the numbness has now spread to her other arm. My Mom becomes understandably frantic and tells her boyfriend (now husband) to bring her home now.

My sister goes to the Dr's with my Mom/Dad and after the initial consultation they refer her to a neurologist where she undergoes a battery of tests. The neurologist meets with my parents to go over the results and he tells them she has a tumor on her spine that must be removed. The neurologist then meets with my parents privately and tells them that my sister will be paralyzed after the surgery. He tells them this is certain and it's only the degree they are not sure about. Below the waist or below the neck. He advises preparing her for this outcome. My parents can't bare to tell her. At this point the only people to know this information are my parents and her boyfriend. This was kept from my sister and from myself up until a few years ago.

The devastation sets in...

My sister is prepped for surgery and my parents begin the heart wrenching 10 hour wait. Approximately 9 hours into surgery my Mother sees (this is her description) a beautiful young girl come into the waiting room. She had long flowing blond hair and was wearing a back pack like a student. My Mother says this girl just seemed to glide as she walked in and was captivated by her beauty. The girl sat down in the chair directly next to my Mother and Father. After a few minutes she turned to them, put her hand on my Mothers arm and said "don't worry, everything will be fine." At that point the girl got up and exited the hospital. At that point a Dr. came to the waiting room noticeably anxious and pulled my parents to the side of the room and said verbatim "It's a miracle! she's not paralyzed. We have movement in her toes and fingers!" My sister made a full recovery.

My Father never saw this girl, even sitting directly next to my Mother. Neither slept a second they were there. To this day my sister still does not know the prognosis the neurosurgeon gave my parents.

I don't know, take that as you will. Either way it was a creepy story that sent shivers down my spine when my Mom told me what happened in the waiting room.

Not to be a skeptic but it sounds like some random who just saw your mom was visibly upset and tried to comfort, or in the tense moments she imagined it.Great result for your sister anyhow, must have been an amazing feeling for your parents to find out she was ok.

db cooper is real interesting, and the oak island story is VERY interesting

the story with the couple in philly, though tragic, is not very hard to believe......thats a bad part of philly, and its very possible the two could have been into a few drug dealers for cash or something....they could have  got shot and ended up in the river or the foundation of a building.  the law of averages dictates that thre will always be murders that go compleatly unsolved

If you like weirdness listen to Coast to Coast- on weeknights late. Bigfoot, ET's, paranormal activities, conspiracy theories-- they're all discussed with "expert" guests. On Halloween Dan Aykroyd talked about ghosts for 3 hours. Cool!

This guy was a recent guest who claims time travel is possible:

Tough to follow the content of his site, but he was an interesting guest to listen to for the part of the show I caught.

I am an Atheist you dork. Also, if you believe in special Illuminati controlling the world and time travel bells then you truly are a retard.

I have read previous posts of your regarding UFOs and typical nonsense of an individual without clear rational thought process - this is self evident in nearly all your previous posts (of what limited ones of yours i have read).
