I have spent considerable time living in London and New York for last couple of years and i have to say it is true that this is the dying days of a once great Country.

Post 9-11 and patriot act and all other aggressive regulations being pursued it has made it very difficult to conduct international business in the US. The Country although possesses many extremely smart people (especially in Manhattan) is driven by greed and cronyism.

I agree USA will still be great for some time yet but its only a matter of time before the developing hungrier nations close the gap still further.

My observations on a grass roots level and comparisons on human actions from people in NY is one of either extremely smart or incredibly dumb. Apart from Manhattan the other boroughs are full of rude retarded ignorant immigrants. Some of the smartest people i have ever met are from Manhattan and were usually white male bankers or Indian Americans. However, most of these people are basically using these smarts to fleece the general public instead of using their smarts to produce something useful.

I think America as well as most of the West is on the verge of being taken over by Asia. Mark my words - the strongest nations in the world in 50 years time will be in Asia.

America is fat and bloated, morally corrupt and the people sidetracked and stupified by current affairs, moronic media and sporting pastimes oblivious to what is really going on about them. It reminds me of stories about the dying days of Rome when the people were shown extravagant displays of sports at the Colosseum to keep their attention from focusing on the horrible situation they were living in. The parallel between the collapse of great societies in the past and USA now is striking. And before any of the patriot Americans come on here to argue against my point, please remember i also do business in the US as well and i would love for things to turn around here more than you know, but history always repeats itself and 'this time is never different'.

australia is the place to be.......we are relaxed, crime rate ios in check and the majority of people are civil 2 each other, our government is in check with no major agendas, and oppurtunities are everywhere, health care is outstanding, things for the most part are in order, i swap between europe ( greece) and sydney, let me tell ya , when i come back 2 sydney u understand the need for an unsleazy form of government. with all this , one thing is constant, if it wasnt for the worlds protector  for the last 70 yrs (america) we would not be able to have the things we have,

I find it hilarious actually.  Auto Insurance should be FOR YOUR CAR by choice only.  Not for someone else`s car.  If you don`t want it, you shouldn`t HAVE to buy it.  You don`t buy House Insurance in order to pay for your neighbors house if it catches fire by accident.  If your friend comes over and accidentally burns your house down, HIS house Insurance doesn`t cover your house.

I literally know several local families that came here from the Hills of Eastern Kentucky and have made millions of dollars, and started businesses that have employed hundreds of people.  Rags to riches...
