How many tries should he get and how accurate should his answers be?  What is an acceptable margin of error for misplaced words or missing words?

Instead of debates and town-halls, should we see who can stand up before a crowd and recite the Constitution from memory most accurately and the quickest?

i'm sorry, but if you are a congressperson and cant tell the difference between the body of the constitution and the BOR, you are NOT QUALIFIED to be in congress.

I just don`t see how you can assume someone doesn`t understand the Constitution just because they haven`t memorized the entire thing.

Its not a matter of memorizing it.  Anyone with even the most basic understanding of it should at least understand how the BOR came about as well as the basic construction of the constitution. 

The fact that we are even having this discussion shows just how screwed up we are.  If we are at the point where we can excuse congress people to not even know the basic text and construction of the constitution than we are truly donezo.
