Tampa Pro - Steve Namat - Countdown!!!

I have 12 weeks until my next IFBB Pro show which will be the Tampa Pro (July 16-17) and I'll do the Jacksonville Pro (Aug 7) as well 3 weeks later.

I started my diet 3-4 weeks ago from 230-235, right now I'm 224 at 5'7". I'll compete in the under 202 class. No need to mention that my goal is the top3 and quailfy to the 202 Mr. Olympia...in 2008 and in 2009 I always missed the qualification by one placing.


Here is my current daily schedule:


4:30AM - 30 minutes cardio
5:00AM - Meal 1
8:00AM - Meal 2
11:00AM - Meal 3
12:00PM - Workout
2:00PM - Meal 4
5:00PM - Meal 5
8:00PM - Meal 6


My goal is to achieve my all time best shape which should be better then my 2008 shape (pics below).

Good luck István! I just got banned from body.builder.hu because of posting some hilarious kai green material, so now youre the last hungarian competitor i can root for actively on a message board. Keep us posted kyomu style :P

why you guys have to eat all those meals?  all-pro guys in the nfl dont.   seems like over-kill to me.

Not really. David has better and fuller muscle bellies, with slightly better shape. He's matching his muscularity and conditioning there though

Lower body Steve kills him.

David Henry doesn't have the greatest quads or calves

not really (and this is nothing against steve)

but this is what is known as forced perspective

the angle the photo is shot at at has namat turned more towards the camera, and closer to it......and dave henry standing farther away



using camera placment you can make a midget look bigger then shaq

For sure Steve. I actually like your physique in that pic better than David's. It helps you don't look like you're related to the gremlins either  :D
