I think it more an issue of control based on individual concerns.
The right is obssessed with any issue based on SEX.
The left is always into this sappy "help us out " issues. (like the ban on high cal foods in the thread)
What amazed me is how so many on the right didn't even blink when the Patriot act was passed (7-8 yrs ago).
As a proud gun owner and ex marine it sacred the hell out me me to lose some of my 4th and 14th ammendment rights under the banner of "terrorisim".

My Green Chile Cheeseburger that I make at home are 890 calories.  A whopper is only 560.  

All Fast Food companies use the same fat content in their meat which is 80/20 which is what I use and what is the best ratio for Hamburgers.

2. Have doctors report parents who let their kids become obese.

the government does not have the right to make such a law.. mcdonalds has no reason to stop.. itll take one of their lawyers a 30 second phone call to a SC county prosecuter and the law will be repealed, or at least unenforced for those with a little cash or a little common sense about political principles
