I honestly don't understand what's so hard to believe about the scientifically proven fact that what determines body composition (nutrition wise) are calories and a certain amount of protein. These concepts are common knowledge among nutritionists who know what they're talking about.
A nutritionist wouldn't discount the micronutrients or beneficial fats in so called clean food, or endorse the trans, sat fats, or nutritionally void profile of things like fast food. That's my principal objection to Adam's junk food diet. Some foods are healthier than other foods and he's supporting the wrong ones. Unless he has amended his Adonis Diet yet again.
Second objection is just personal preference. I'd rather eat a high volume of cal sparse foods than a low volume of cal dense food. It's almost impossible to overeat when you're eating tons of veggies, but who's really going to throw out half a Big Mac, time after time, when their stomach is far from full and they're in cal debt? Someone with greater willpower than mine.
Of course cal debt is required for fat loss. He just makes awful food choices.
