Ronaldo - Almost back to his best. top scorer of tournament
Rivaldo - Sweet left foot
Roberto carlos - Insane power and incredible speed.
Ronaldinho - Sweet footwork and up and coming awesomeness.

This Brazil side has no 'mythiocal' player this year so far. Shame.

South Korea carved them open on more than one occasion if they had taken that chance just after half time I think they could have actually gone on to win it...as it was they didnt and argentian scored a couple of well worked goals...better teams can beat that argie side tho...no doubts about it, they look very shaky at the back.

I agree...Argentina is a super talented team but they shine only when the other side lets them play their style of ball. When they meet mid field controlling team like Germany, Netherlands or Brazil the outcome will be different.

On a different note I'm taking a poll on which team plays the most pussified, diving, and whining style of football.
1. Argentina
2. Portugal
3. Italy
4. Spain

I'm leaning towards Italy...but I'm so tired of the screaming, diving to the gound, hands in the air pleading and ref whining after every time one of these teams strikers loses the ball. Winning is important but so is character and sportsmanship...which the Asian teams seem to have in spades.

Yeah, but argentina is in a weak group and even if they make it to the next round it will be against a team from group A, once again relatively a weak group. But after that they will end up playing either Germany or England, and then they will get their @sses handed to them

Haha, I was going to make the same exact thread. I would have to say that Greece and Spain are at the top, though. If someone so much as breathes on any of those guys they wind up on the ground flopping around.

Every match is just unbearable. That fucking buzzing noise takes out the best part when the fans start to sing and chant. I was watching the match this morning and 10 minutes later just changed the channel because of the noise. I guess FIFA would rather appease 50 thousand fans in the stadium than 500 million fans at home watching.

Shocking...genuinely shocking, for a team with the players that they have, there is no excuse for the shit that team has produced.

They dont close the space down, they cant defend in a straight line, no one is working hard off the ball the give the man in possession options, shots on goal have been woeful, set pieces poor, manager makes terrible substitions or doesnt make them at all...you can go on and on and on, almost every facet of their game is inadequate at this level...they deserved to get spanked tonight.

Ironically...I think Germany is stronger without Ballack.
