My gf's cat has fits and the vets think it might be epilepsy. Watching him have a fit is horrible, but luckily the meds seem to be controlling it at the moment.

Me and that cat have something in common.  :-\ I see children have them all the time and it makes me wonder why this happened to others also.  :-\

Sorry to hear about your condition, dude. If you don't mind me asking, how severe are your fits and how "aware" are you of what's going on while having one?

It's cool bro. I do alot of charity work with children who have epilepsy.  ;) Well, i was working out late a few weeks ago and had a seizure while benching, 360 + and my chest broke, abunch of ribs, sternum and tore some major ligaments.  >:( I am glad that it did not roll on my neck because no one was there.  :-\ I know the owner and i had to watch the tape but it looked as if my chest and arms pushed the barbell down my body.  :o :o I spent ten days in the ER and that is why i was not on here.   :)

Fucking hell, unlucky! A friend of mine had his first and only fit whilst in military training. They kept him in a rehab troop for six months to see if it happened again; it didn't, but they still discharged him as they couldn't take the risk of it happening again when he was carrying a rifle. He was devastated.

I was going to join but they would not take me.  >:( I was depressed for a few months and then started to help out children.  :) While i was at Clemson, i transferred back home to AA, Michigan and found out that i can help more people and not feel sorry for myself.  :) I feel for your buddy because Seizure Meds are VERY HIGH if you have no insurance!! I was paying $1,400 a month.  :-\

In the UK you don't have to pay for meds that are essential for you to live - I'm pretty sure epilepsy meds come under this, but don't quote me on it. It's one of the benefits of universal health care, it's just a shame that we're on the verge of bankruptcy.

All cats reek from hell.

People surrounded by it are desensitized. Trust and believe; anyone walking in a home with a cat can smell it the second they walk in.

Also, nothing is more allergenic than cats. Their dander breaks into half micron (can't be filterable by home units) pieces and has nature's highest dander ionic charge.

They're repulsive.

Haha! You're one of those weak, bed wetting, allergy ridden types.

"sniff, sniff. I can't come out today the pollen count is too high."

You're right about the smell of cats. I notice it in other people's houses, not as bad as dogs, though

I don't have allergies, LOL!

I despise filth and like things clean, so no cats.

It's essentially impossible to keep a house containing cats clean or remove traces of them.
